Cable Cars Saint-Petersburg

A Cable Car Ropeway will connect Krestovsky Island and Vasilievsky Island

For the World Cup 2018 on Krestovsky Island may appear cable cars, similar to the ones like on a ski lift, on which of the Vasilevsky Island and the new football stadium will be connected in just 5 minutes for a small fee of 100 rubles or 3 dollars.

The ropeway project to the new stadium of Zenit was given to the company LenStroy. For the project of two lines of cable cars, the company is prepared to spend 7.3 billion rubles.

The expected time of completion is not yet known, but we know that the length of the tracks is 2 - 2.5 kilometers. This project will be great for the city and offer citizens and visitors of St. Petersburg an alternative and easier way to travel from one island to another, and especially right to the new Zenit stadium.

The Company believes that the services of the cable cars will be used not only for tourists but also locals and will be completed for sure before the start of the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
